Got a P0101 this weekend when pulling a tractor and bushhog ,and forgetting to turn off OD.
Sprayed the MAF sensor with the spray and three and more starts later, light still on.
Is it time for me to get on board with you diesel-nutz and get the SEGR to solve my problem?

Mine gives me the same code - and lo and behold, when I looked under the hood, some gremlin had UNPLUGGED my MAF sensor! Who would do such a thing? It forced me to contact LocoCRD to purchase a special box that makes the problem go away.

there are forces at work here that are beyond our comprehension. . .

Was Rosco the chihuahua? I noticed the new youngster in your avatar.

Where is Mt. Hermon in relation to Baton Rouge? I have an assembled SEGR I got from LocoCRD about a month ag that I still need to put in.

Peanutbutter is the chihuahua.Rosco was my new BFF,the one in my new avatar.Lost him this past weekend. :(

Mt. Hermon is northeast of BR,if you know where Franklinton is,I'm a lil northwest of there.Washington Parish.

I'm going to be PM'ing UFO to get me one of those SEGR's and mabe we can meet up and do them together.

Sounds good to me. If UFO doesn't have an assembled kit, try LocoCRD. He followed through quickly on mine, I had it less than a week after Paypaling him.

I think, however, that you can pass inspection in Washington Parish without needing to pass emissions. I believe it is only required in EBR, WBR, Livingston, and Ascension. Mine is up for inspection in June so I will be installing here in the next 6 weeks sometime.
