What OBDII Scan tool software do you use on your Libby CRD?

There's information in the "Tech" section on what some are using and what information it gives. BUT THAT FORUM IS NOT FOR POSTING QUESTIONS as it says at the beginning.

Also be advised that any advanced program/tool like Scanguage or VAG-COM found so far will drop off line after a few minutes of driving and or cause the transmission to do bad things.

This is because the CRD's data bus is full of computers talking different languages causing a mismatched mess on the bus. GMTD has gone into great detail about it

My registered version of VAG-COM in it's "generic OBDII mode" will clear codes and allow me to monitor various sensors on the engine and read firmware versions of the ECM and TCM.
If you bought a Chinese version of VAG-COM or Elmscan good luck getting them to work
So far the Chrysler devices are it but some come close

Thank you, and yes, mine is the Chinese Version. Any tricks to make it work. Should I get the VGA-COM in your opion. My main use for it would be recording the sensor data shall I want to flight with the stealership again. They can be very hard to talk with sometimes. I keep receiving these commands such as "How can people in the LOST forum know more than Jeep does?" or "We got this TB from Jeep tell us that we should do XYZ while reading code PXXXX & PYYYY......"

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't get the vag-com unless you have a VW too. It would be a waste just for the jeep. It's for VW/Audi products and does a lot for them. I think GMTD likes the Autoinginuity (sp?)
