The commander uses a different bolt pattern... so that would not work. Too bad though, it'd be nice.

Hmmm, but I wouldn't mind running Commander wheels. I guess it depends on the hubs too, I'm sure it could be made to work.

Thunderbird and Mark VIII guys swap out their hubs and run Mustang Cobra brakes on their cars. Goes from 4.25 to 4.50 bolt pattern in the process.

Then you gotta do the rear also, then it gets $$$$ fast. Not to mention you also need to upgrade the master cylinder and booster as well to operate those bigger brakes.

You want better braking call this place.................

http://www.vancopbs.com/

They can make a hydroboost system for any vehicle as long as you have at least 15" or so from the firewall out where the OEM booster is bolted to.Not cheap but you will end up with to much brakes, lock them up at 100mph if you wanted to.

Hydroboost is the way to go! I have a hydroboost setup waiting to be installed on my Cutlass, the engine doesn't make enough vacuum to operate regular brakes. Darn big cam in a small block... 8)

As an update to this: Just checked every lister I know, and the only company I can find that makes any rotors for us is EBC.

Freakin hate the aftermarket sometimes. I was really going to do this, too. Slotted rotors with those NAPA ceramic pads sounded like a working combo. Now stuck with the OEM puke. At least I can use DOT4 when/if any company DOES start making rotors for us.
