I have the same problem and am thinking of using top plate spacers so I don't have to take the struts apart again.
That said, the correct solution is to change the springs. I have problems bottoming out (or is that topping out, full compression) and using spacers to level the jeep isn't going to fix that problem, whereas the correct springs should (or at least help.)
