I mounted my Samco hoses today, took me 30 minutes to do both. the hoses work like a cham. The sticker come with the kit looks cool on my rear window.

Question.
After I removed the intercooler to Intake hose. I can touch and feel a "flap" in the intake. Is this the EGR? If it is, is it normal for it to lay flat when the power is off. Does this mean my EGR is open?

I had the CEL about two month ago due to EGR. And, I did SEGR mod + Inmotion remapping about a month ago, after runn ORM for about two weeks. Thanks in advance..

That is the fcv. You want it to be open. If the fcv is closed, it is directing egr into the intake.

The throttle flap closes at shutdown to make the engine more smooth. If it's open, it's really rough.

Sounds like it's operating normally to me.
