I use Napa Gold filters because they are made by Wix. In my opinion Wix makes the best disposable filters for the money.

When I get a re-usable filter I will get AFE because I don't like filter oil.

Another vote for AMSOil. I got pretty healthy MPG's on a road trip last year.

Don't mean to thread-jack, but how did removing the rear sway bar affect the on-road manners? And towing? (just curious)

I vote for Amsoil. Do they make an Amsoil filter for the KK's?

Not yet. It takes them a while to catch up on new vehicles and they partly base which ones they cover by sales of wix for the application through dealers. I am putting in a request for them though and will LYAK what I hear.

I have not noticed any difference in the handling of it on-road. Still has great road manners. No excessive roll. I have not done any towing though. Maybe someone else can speak to that...

I'm running Amsoils Ea air filter, filters great, love it!!

But got a question...

Amsoil says its service life is 4 years/100,000 miles, which ever comes first. Will since I don't drive 25,000 every year, does that mean I have to throw it out after 4 years even though it will only have driven about 20-25k miles. I usually clean it every six months with a shopvac and an air compressor.
