So a few months back I got RUSTY'S 2.5 coils used but never got the rest or the lift. The other day I got a good deal on OME HD struts. Will they work with rear RUSTY'S 2.5 coils? I plan on getting OME long travel shocks for the rear.

OME says 1.5" but I dont know of any one that didnt gain at least 2.25", I gained 2.5" from just the coils

The truth is that if you take the Rusty's sticker off the struts that are part of the Rusty's 2.5" Coil Lift Kit, they ARE OME (NS131s, I believe) Front Struts. When I bought my Rusty's Lift two years ago, I paid a little extra to get the OME Rear Shocks (NS132s). When I decided to upgrade this Spring, I ordered the OME HD springs front and back and voila -- Full OME HD Lift!!!

Well, he did say he was going with 132Ls. I don't know that I have seen a pic with the "L's" next to the Ranchos, have you?

Rusty's coils are lighter and give a smoother ride, but not as much lift, and they will sag more. OME HDs are heavier, give a rougher ride (at least initially, mine are not broken in yet), but provide more lift and will not sag as much...

I really don't want to have to mess with other parts due to the lift, Like steering or brake lines or anything else...

Thanks.

nope you have an '02 you dont need to do anything besides the new coils and shocks and you will be all set and some bumpstops, you can buy the fronts and use some hockey pucks for the rear.

Way far advanced than most other states for sure, and we do know what we are talking about, not making it up as we go

Arkansas does not qualify as most states.

But seriously, don't question tommudd's knowledge of what works and doesn't work on KJ's, or his experience on these forums.
