I encountered this problem the other day as I was trying to clean my front windshield after I ran through a million bugs. I put wiper fluid in and filled it up, I tryed it, and nothing happend, not even a sound that its working. SO I tired the back spray and it doesnt work either. So then I checked the fuze and its fine. Now today I washed my jeep and I went to go wipe the water off the back windshield with the blade and the blade wont even work! :x But my front wiper blade works, I checked my fuzes again and they are still fine. Its like the whole stick that has all the controls on it isnt working besides the front windshield wipers...

Can anyone help me and have any idea what to do?

this isn't a fix

but try operating the wiper / washer with the stick in different positions

what do you mean in different positions? nothing will work on it besides pulling it down, which make the front wipers go, and when I turn on the different speeds for the front. Nothing else will work.

and how is it not a fix?

what i meant was, for instance see if the back wiper works with the blinker on or something

sometimes when a stick goes bad it'll get enough contact in alternate stick positions other than neutral position and you can help diagnose what the actual problem is
