Tried to trade 05 Jeep Libertyin and the guy who took it for a ride 2x told me to check differential... hear a lil bit of play and wiggle when coming to a stop or following behind someone at like 5-10 mph. in traffic... anyone have any ideas as to what it could be it sounds like it is either right under me or right behind me to the passenger side.... I am going to check the fluid first to see if it is low and have not tried to see if 4x4 works yet but open to suggestions

It could be anything. First thing is to get under the vehicle and try to move the rear driveshaft by hand. If it moves, check to see where the play is. If your u-joints haven't been replaced in a while they'd be my first suspect.
