I doesn't bother me what kind of rig you have as long as you use it. Over here in WA a lot of guys (and gals) buy the newest and best rigs, buy every little knick-knack under the sun, lift them as high as possible and get the biggest and best wheels with low profile Toyo MT's tires. THERE EVERYWHERE!!! And the sad part is, 99% will never see any trails. If your into show trucks then build a lowrider. If your going to make a badass 4x4, USE IT !!!

Thats so true. When I lived in Nor Cal I saw them everywhere. I asked one guy if he wanted to go fishing with me and said yes. As soon as we got on the "trail" he didnt want to get it dirty.... so we walk the rest of the way.

You're absolutely right. I remember looking over Craigslist at all the utterly bad-@$#%, modded jeeps and wrangers, lifts, DANA 44's, 38" mudders, fat coils, detroit lockers, and at the end of many of the ads "never been offroad" was extremely common. Whenever I have the chance to talk to someone with a badass rig, the first question I always ask: "Ever take this little girl off the street?" Because you never know.

I say let them buy there toys and lift it and buy all the goodies for it and never drive it off-road. Then they can sell it to us for cheap.

Ahhh...Good point! Except there usually too big and nice to do any real wheeling.
