I've installed an EVIC from an 03 Liberty in my 04 Liberty. It works & looks great however because of the difference in the model years the temperature display doesn't work.

So I've been on the hunt for an EVIC from an 04 model year. I've learned something tha you guys probably already know that Chrysler used the EVIC in a number of different vehicles from Liberty's to Cherokee's and even some Dodge RAM pickup trucks. Does anybody know what other vehicles I should be looking for EVIC's from?

Not sure if your Liberty is a Canadian one or a US one (or if there's even a difference), but if there's no difference with regard to the EVIC then when you find an '04 EVIC and you want to sell your '03 EVIC please PM me. I have an '03 Liberty and would love to install an EVIC in it.

Don't know about the Nitro (that is the new KA platform) or even the new Liberty (KK) EVIC, but when I was researching the compatibility of EVIC/OTIS for the KJ I was very surprised when I realized that models for the following would work:

Grand Cherokee '99+ (WJ)

Dodge Intrepid '98+, Chrysler Concorde '98+, Chrysler LHS '99+, Chrysler 300M '99+ (LH)

and then obviously the Liberty '02+ (KJ)

(Note: different years did have different functionality)

This is really not surprising as they all came out of the same parts bin (my '04 KJ dash looks identical to my Dad's '04 PT Cruiser dash...)

I also seem to remember reading at some point that the Chrysler Sebring and the Town & Country "might" work as well, but don't quote me on that...
