What is this plug for?

Installing a driving light loom and removed the small rectangular panel above the knee bolster.
Attached to the small rectangular panel is a loom with a plug attached. There's nothing plugged into it; and it's just attached to the panel. Anyone know what it's for? :?:

If so I posted something a while ago and nobody seemed to know.....Im intrested as well. I have some guesses though. Maybe its the harness for steering wheel audio controls that I dont have. Our steering wheels have the spot for them. Or could it be for the light bar switch for the Liberty Renegade....doubt that though.

i have a lightbar and i have that same yellowish plug in that same location on the steering column

i don't have audio controls on my steering wheel either, also don't have heated seats, and don't have an evic

i know one thing though

i bet it's for something!

It's a Limited with Steering wheel controls, EVIC, and power seats.

Only a guess but maybe the Headlight leveling switch?? Apparently on some models-maybe overseas, son models had this feature. This is from Service manual:

The headlamp leveling switch (Fig. 34) is used only
on vehicles manufactured for certain markets where
the headlamp leveling system is required. The headlamp
leveling switch is mounted in the driver side
inboard trim bezel on the instrument panel, where it
is secured by molded latch features that are integral
to the switch housing.
