I appreciate it guys ..

Heres an update: My brother had skin grafts done today and I have not yet been able to get to the hospital to see him. My dad left me a message a few hours ago that said that he was out of surgury and that he had apparently done very well. He's on a ventilator right now because he had a bad cold/upper respitory infection prior to this accident. It looks scary but the doctors all assure me and my family that it's only a safety precaution to keep him stable. I hope with all my heart that they're being honest and that he will be okay.

As for the other two girls-they'll both be having skin grafts done within the next week, although I don't know when or to what parts of their bodies. Cecelia will be released fairly soon though I think. Calasis and my brother are supposed to be in for a little over a month.

I just wish the media would leave them alone; they're constantly trying to sneak into the hospital and they've been trying to get "spy shots" from buildings across the street and such. It's seriously annoying that they won't just let them heal in peace. They even called our house  .

Again .. thank you for your thoughts and prayers .. it means a lot to me and even more to them

I'm lifting them all up in prayer and praying for strength for you too Auggy. I sent the request to some others from church as well.

Let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers but to be fearless in facing them.
Let me not beg for the stilling of my pain, but for the heart to conquer it.
Let me not look for allies in life's battlefield but to my own strength.
Let me not crave in anxious fear to be saved but hope for the patience to win my freedom.
Grant me that I may not be a coward, feeling your mercy in my success alone;
But let me find the grasp of your hand in my failure.

Rabindranath Tagore

Again thanks everybody .. it means a lot.

Please don't believe everything you see on the news if it comes on in your state. I know that it's an AP story and that CNN was covering everything, just please don't believe all the facts that they give.

It's really frustrating to see the articles questioning my mom's judgement for having her son in the classroom and for giving a demonstration with a particularly flamable liquid. My brother had a cold that kept him home from school for a few days, and since no one would be around to take care of him at home she had him come to school with her for that one class (it was right after lunch and was her last of the day) so that she could look after him. He is a goofy little kid and reads chemistry and science books at home, so he always loves to participate in experiments like that so my mom let him stand up front with us. thats why he was hurt as well. as for the fire itself .. its a long story that ill tell when they're getting better, but it was a wierd accident and as far as i can tell .. it was the fumes that ignited because i dont think any alchohol actually poured from the container

http://www.ohio.com/mld/ohio/news/13706394.htm

That's kinda accurate if you're curious .. just so that someone knows at least mostly what happened.

Sorry for the rant .. it's just frustrating to see someone be torn apart who is currently pacing the hallways of the hospital checking on her son and her two studens and wont even sleep because she's so worried.

Again though .. thank you all so very much .. I know it will help them pull through

Most Teachers are Teachers because they like dealing with kids. (I say this because my wife is a teacher)So I do not think that your mother would have done anything like this if she would have thought this would have happened. Sometimes no matter how much you try things happen and everyone is going to judge it befor they know the whole story. I just hope your mother and brother make it OK. I will continue to pray for you all. You will need the prayers also when the time comes to help them get back to a "normal life" after all this.
