BDS lift comes without front struts, but their spring ratings are that of OME... And it's $475 online, but cheaper if you get it from a local dealer (you can find them on BDS's site). Comes with all 4 coils, rear BDS shocks, and a front strut bracket thing. Then you can either use stock struts, which I have no choice but to do cause of OFTS... Or, the recommended route, get some Rancho front struts.

I don't run dust boots on Liberty (all 4 corners).

Dust boots look cool, but that's about it haha. There's a lot of options when it comes to shocks... Rancho, OME, BDS, Rough Country, Skyjacker, but some are better than others...

Agreed on everything you said, but no one said I was about "performance" for a 2WD mines all about the looks! No joke I'm actually trying to turn it into a Show Liberty :P

Haha well the guy I bought my BDS lift through gave me some free boots. I like the look of them, it's a cheap "mod" to make the Liberty look as cool as possible. So I'm all for em.

I am putting 02 springs on my jeep do I have to put on new shocks on right away as long as I dont do any flexing of the kjs guns. IF i can run it for a few weeks and throw new ones on later thats what i want to do.
the 02 springs are a budget boost for my budget boost till I buy a franky.

I mean instead of buying the Daystar, and then having to buy struts and shocks, just get a cheap suspension lift if you will eventually get a Franky. Like Rusty's or Rough Country. It will prob end up being the same amount.

did you buy 02 springs? trying to determine what you are doing and why? If they are used then they may already be sagged anyways but new ones , you could of bought OMEs for about the same price :? :? :?

I have the daystar lift and have had it for two years. I am just putting in 02 springs to see if I get a little more lift with pre-lowered springs clevis lift (front) and extra Iso (rear) I just wanted to know if I can get away with stock shocks for a little while till I buy and install new ones

Ooohhh... Well I would just get some new shocks, and rock that for a while. You can get a pair of either Ranchos or BDS for maybe $100 shipped. If the Daystar is treating you fine, no need to mess with it.

If the 02 springs are used not sure they would really do you much good but you maybe able to get some lift out of them. Being 7 years old and all but its worth a try since you have them
