how much do I need. I bought a quart of some atf+4, then i realized that i might need more than that. I'm too lazy to go and look myself. So anyone know like off the top of their head? and if you know the amount in quarts that would be very helpful.

Its only 1.3, i got tired of waiting for a reply. lol.

I wish they made like half quarts or tranny fluid so i don't have to go out and buy another whole quart.

Could I run it on just one quart until I can get another quart?

No it would be much safer to just buy the other quart and have it at the recommended capacity.

Well its got about a quart in there now anyways. I'll probably end up going to buy the extra quart anyways.

Budke, the .3 is there for a reason. If they said 1 quart would you be ok with just 2/3 of a quart.
Check your tranny,if it's low you can throw some in there.

For left over ATF

Use in your Tranny
Use in your PS fluid (for newer models)
50/50 mix of ATF and Acetone makes an awesome penetrating oil

I just filled it up until it starting overflowing then quickly put the plug back on the keep most of it in. :D

My transmission can't take any more fluid, its filled to its max.
Power steering is already filled up good.
I'll just save it incase I need it in the future.
Next time i change my t-case fluid i can just buy one quart and have the rest to fill it up all the way.

Don't use it in your power steering. Only newer models use ATF
