I'm trying to help my hubby out since he's afraid of computers. I would like to know the easiest way to install the O2 sensor on the driver's side front of the engine.

Thanks guys.

It's pretty straightforward. Located almost directly under the driver's seat. Screws into top of exhaust, not too hard to spot once you crawl under there. Just unplug, unscrew, replace and plug in new.

Oh yeah. I believe you're supposed to disconnect the battery first, as well.

There's usually instruction in the package about whether or not to do it with the exhaust system cold/warm/hot. Its been so long since I did it (on the Jeep's predecessor) that I don't remember which but you could have a lot of problems if you try to remove the old one without following the directions.

I need to know how to get to the front 02 sensor. Anybody? We took the driver's side wheel off and can't get to from there. It's the one before the cadillac conveter.
