I got a SEGR kit a year or so ago. Put it together and tried it. Got some codes. So ORM still in use. I haven't had time to troubleshoot the code issue and the recent GDE product sounds really
good. So should I just save my time and forget trying to fix the SEGR, which could take a few minutes or a few months, or do the GDE thing and be done with it? The GDE sounds like a really nice product that fixes a lot of issues besides the EGR. Since I don't drive the Libby much, the performance gains aren't a big deal, but the mileage gain is always welcome. Plus it sounds like GDE has a "safer" (for the TC (stock or aftermarket)) way of delivering power.

I got a SEGR too, never installed it. I'm very happy with the GDE tune, my one and only complaint is that it wasn't available sooner.

I got the SEGR installed, and I now have the GDE. The GDE is a complete engine tune that can also do what the SEGR does, so I would say get it and don't mess with the SEGR at this point.

I was wondering the same thing, so if my egr code is on not, the GDE should fix that? I'm not sure why my EGR code is on but as long as the valve is closed I don't care.
