Looks good! Don't forget to get pictures of the front before, during and after you install.

always funny to see compressors on rear springs so much work for nothing

Good luck with that setup, looks like it may last for a short while

tom's right (of course) your springs will probably sag after a short while, but at least you have a lift until you can afford to go better. BTW, would mind measuring from the fenders to the center of the wheel, I want to compare your lift to others and see how your sitting. Plus it'll give you a benchmark to compare to after the lift settles.

Got me to work anyway. 55 miles. Tryed to drive 95 mph, works fine...
But the steering wheel is turned a little more to the right, and when I´m turnin mush the outer wheel will slide/turn more...
When driving the steering seemd to be a little more "steady/hard to turn".

Japp. Done that now. At least the steering rod, so now the front wheel is pointing at the same direktion as they where before, and the Jeep is going straight when the steering wheel is straight.
Took the right hand rod out allmost 1 mm.

It feels better, going on a 180 mile trip tomorrow.

Driven over 200 miles now, and it feels great. No strange behaveor, almost...
When hitting a bump in little too high speed, it feels a little more than I´m used to. But that can be because I´m more sensitive for such thing when it´s newly lifted...

How do I get the front bumpstop down? Is there a bigger rubber to replace the one I have now? Or do I have to move down the one I have?

Definately get bumpstops. A big part of that 'bump' could be from your wheel hitting the fender. I wasn't sold on them, until I tore my front fender flare off my first time wheeling it.

Or you could just pay more attention to every little noise and weird thing that happens to it now, I know I do. When it's stock you don't pay any attention to it, but when YOU modify it... Every little sound catches your attention  .

hahaha

that is the raw truth

spent a good week chasing ghosts after i lifted mine, chased down every rattle, bump or pop in the dash

but to be honest, i don't remember how my jeep rode stock anymore or what sounds it made or didn't make so i've calmed down :)

:D

So, how are the bumpstop fitted? Are they just sqeesed in posision? And how do I remove them? So I dont damage something in the progress...

By the way, redaing this makes me shure that the XJ are more male than the KJ. I´ts marking the territory more frekvently... 8)
But it can be more female too, it talks a lot more than the KJ...
