Those must have been updated or I had a little different RR AT. mine didn't have the center bar, but step treads down middle like the outside. With that being said, I had 33x12.50x15 on my K5, only bought 2 new ones cause they were out of wear sync, at the time I though they were pretty expensive( this was back in 96-97, I was paying 140 a tire back then). They wore okay if rotated regularly, okay in snow, would slip a little in rain, pretty quiet. I looked at our sizes, not too bad a price. That newer tread design would most lkely be much better in the rain & quieter than mine were.

Taking a look at the survey results, they don't look too impressive.

Really wouldn't call that an A/T at all. Maybe an all season, looks like it could handle a lightly snow covered road. But the blocks look way to closely together for use offroad.

i sell those things allllllllll day long. i have a set on my dads truck, and had them on libby pre lift. they ride good and are quiet but not an all terrain by anyyyyyyyyy stretch of the imagination. if you like something that can handle the street and a dirt road every once in a while they are a great bang for the buck and you will get the 60k miles out of them as long as you rotate every 6k and keep it aligned. every customer ive sold them to likes them, the only complaint i get is that the white walls look ugly.

yeah the original AT design was much meatier. I may consider those for the wifes when we need tires since hers never goes off road.
TBJ doesn't know a thing, I will agree to that.... HAHAHAHA j/k

... Thanks for the feedback all. I only ask because someone locally is selling a set of 4 265/70/16 with only 5,000 miles on them for $150. I get my lift today so I'm looking into bigger tires.

For $150, what can you lose on them? Buy them, run them, if you don't like, take them off and resell and get what you want. I did that with some BFG AT's... ended up not liking them at all,...besides most everyone saying how great they are.
