I was reading somewhere on jeepforum.com & someone mentioned that all Renegade models come equipped with Tracloc in the rear from factory. Is that true or not? I often wonder if I have Tracloc, because on some occassions I feel it like pop or disengage. Aint it supposed to say on the door plate if I have Tracloc or not?

There should be a sticker on the axle tube by the brakes that say whether you have open or LSD.

I can only answer for the 2004 Renegades. Yes. You really shouldn't feel any pop or disengaging. The only time you really know if it is engaged is when you make a turn on pavement and you get a small bark/squeal from the tires. You most likely made the turn from a stop.

That happens also... The only other 4x4 I owned was my Toyota pickup. It had a welded rear & you could not not know the rear was locked. I need to check the KJ tomorrow.

I own an '03 Renny that I bought new and I can say for certainty that it was an option that year, because I had to pay for it, haha. Just check the sticker on your axle and it will say if you have the Trac-Lock feature.
