Couple things: The Frankie people offer a CRD specific lift. Does the RK lift work with the CRD? What is the difference between the two lifts so that the RK is one inch taller???

Ok I took a look at the RK site. How would you incorporate their pieces into a Frankie lift?

All you have to do is use the longer RK clevises with the preassembled frankie. Hardest part will be getting the clevis on the LCA

So you don't like CRD Joe Tbird, telling him that and he will think it will actually work. Good way to tear out the CVs and destroy evereything

it wont work cause if you stack the two lifts up, you will put your cv's at such an angle that they well destory themselves. the only way to have the two lifts to work would be to do a 2'' cradle drop and new jba cut cv's.

The RK lift is not ment for the CRD,one guy on this board kept tearing CV boots on the extended clevises. After much complaining to RK they dropped the CRD from vehicles it fits.

Oh and not to mention RK has been shipping(been caught many times now) there lifts with grade 2 hardware.

Why don't you tell us experts all about it AFTER you do it

You can't lift a CRD because they are too heavy, and then they will roll!!!! Everybody knows that!!!!!

Ya TBJ you can't lift a CRD cause they are too heavy uh. Is that why RL even said i would have no problem doing the SFA to my CRD liberty. So then tell me, how it is too heavy when it is going to be sitting aroung 9 to 10'' of lift with 35's on it. Gonna be to heavy right and roll!

As per "experts", a couple people have said that with a cradle drop you could run over 3.5''' of lift.

OK everyone calm down,

we all like to play around and joke with others and get into great discussions, but when some words start to roll, its time to back away from the keyboard.

ThunderbirdJunkie just ordered the Rock Krawler 3.5 inch lift. He will let you all know how it works out combined with his OME and Skyjacker coils.

 good luck with that

 Whatever, dude. When you have as much 4x4 experience as ThunderbirdJunkie, you don't care what a buncha people on an interweb site think. He knows what he's doing. You have not tried this before, so please do not criticize Our judgement, ok?

This is the logic. Many people have used the OME and old stiff Skyjacker coils with great success.

Also, many people have used the RK 3.5 lift with great success.

(great+success)x(great+success)=greatsuccess²+greatsuccess², which, of course, is 2(greatsuccess)²

So, it would be even better

if you are serious that is 5 to 6" of lift, what are your plans for the cvs?

Come on get real....he is not serious he is making fun of those who come up with crap like that

haha, well the man is mystery to me. I can't read him!

Enjoy your lift harmlessV8...this forum is like the internet itself, you gotta sift thru 80% propaganda and nonsense.
You might consider some front extended bumpstops from Terraflex, they'll keep the struts from bottoming out. Works great for me with 30k miles on my spacer lift. But don't tell anyone or you'll get shouted down. Sorry to see the same of Shiite here...LOST is LOST. :(

I just wanna reply to that last post, I think most guys on here will try to give you their honest opinions. Though I agree they do kind of give it a little forcefully but I don't think they've ever really flamed anyone for their choice (other than regular jostling which I hope everyone is adult enough to handle.) If you choose to do a lift other than what the masses recommend, good for you it's your jeep your money, and in my opinion, do it your way. michael_dba I'm sorry you feel that way about this forum, but try to take some of the posts with a grain of salt and remember in every peach patch there's usually a couple bugs. Just don't let that ruin your idea of the entire patch. :D Personally I say good luck and keep us informed on how it does for you, regardless I think you'll enjoy your jeep lifted over stock.
