OK, I designed up a front bumper (http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... php?t=5360), but the problem was the washer bottle hangs down so far, it really hurt the angles of the design to be sure it was protected, and to keep the design simple to avoid undue expenses. So, the question is, if you were to buy a better front bumper, would you be willing to replace the washer bottle with another if the replacement was cheap and easy to move? I think it is a simple answer, but I still have to ask.

Mate, I'd cut off my left testicle for a better bumper.

Having said that, I've already got the ARB one and the postage from the US of A would be prohibitive I fear.

Phew, my wedding tackle's safe!

Yes on moving the bottle. I have not had a bottle for a couple years now after busting it on a rock.

I moved mine a little while ago. Go to homedepot. get a 4inch pcv cupler (about 5 inches long) and 2, 4" caps, glue them to each side of the cupler, thus making a 8" (end to end) tank. drill a 1-1/2" hole on top and glue a short 45 deg 1-1/2" elbow to fill it. drill a 3/8 or so hole on the bottom and JBweld in your oem pick up pump. the pump needs to be submerged so do it on the bottom somewhere.

the hole thing fits perfectly behind the air box on the pass. side fender. Ill take some pics later 2night and post them. ohh yeah, it hold about 1/3 gal of fluid too.

TMI

And Yes, I have no problems with moveing it. We just need to figure out what to to with the CRD.

Allready relocated!

Nice Idea KKKustom- I just bought a cheapy coolent overflow unit for mine. I like the strenght the pvc would add. on the first install, the pump shook around and cracked the plastic. I just reinforced it with some aluminum PRC'd onto the side- probably took as much time as making the bottle you described lol.

Depends...I plan on snorkeling my rig, and a relocated washer bottle would kinda F those plans right in the A. However, if there were no other options, absolutely.

There are plenty of places and ways to relocate the washer bottle. The two brought up here are just some options!
