So I have an 06 CRD that is equipped with a rene light bar. I also have an aftermarket bumper with piaa fog lights. My problem is my fogs aren't hooked up and I don't know where the switch is supposed to be (for the factory fogs) all I have is a light bar switch. I'm not sure if the previous owner put the rene light switch where my old factory fog light switch used to be or what? Where is the switch for the factory fogs normally? My plan is to run another light bar switch so it looks factory, but I don't want to rewire my fogs knowing that the vehicle previously had fogs and wiring.
This is what I have, any suggestions?

The OEM foglamp switch is built in with the headlamp switch, just pull out on the end of the headlamp switch to turn on OEM fogs if it has the OEM switch installed for fogs.

The power for the fog lights:

I had a 30 Amp extra wire in the connector by the driver's door that is for the aux light bar that most don't have. If you have a light bar, then run a power and ground from the battery directly.
If you don't have the light bar, power is right there.

The power for the aux light bar comes from under the hood, fuse 12, 30 Amp. It is a constant feed.
The other end goes to the big connector by your left foot, driver's side, connector C100. Circuit or pin # 60. It's a 14 AWG Red wire (circuit A904). Pin 60 is on the top-right. The connector pin numbers are marked on the connector, but be warned, they are very tiny numbers molded on the connector.

Hook up a test light to pin 60 and it should light up. Go pull fuse 12 under the hood and it should go out if you got the right wire.
Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

yeah the OEM is part of the head lamp switch. I could not find mine at first and had to look in the manual. its on the end of the turn signal stalk, you have to turn the switch so that you have the parking lights and/or headlights on first then you pull out on the end of it and the OEM fog lights come on.

Awesome, I had no idea. I will try to hook up the Piaas and see what happens ( If I can find the fog lamp harness intact). I'm not 100% sure I had factory fogs, I'm just assuming because its a limited with almost every option. Guess I'll find out, thanks for the quick responses!

IIRC, all 06 CRD's had foglights, as well as cruise and alloy wheels. My Sport has foglights, so I should think a Limited would.
