I'm getting ready to get the 2.5" Skyjacker coil spring lift kit. I've been looking forward to it for awhile. I called up the place I'm planning on using to install it. Supposedly, there's like a 3 month waiting period to get the kit. Has anyone else heard of this or is something fishy going on here?

Never heard of that....its never been an extremely popular kit so that's hard to believe.

Check out JeepinAl.com or just find him on the site. He ordered mine and had it in days. I have had it installed for a while now and it has handled everthing I have thrown at it. I have never caught myself saying "I wish I paid the extra money for a Frankinlift"

I'm sure they have improved their kit, but I'm just opposed to doing business with SJ ever again. When the kit first came out it had all kinds of problems and they screwed me over. Their customer service was horrible (they actually took to ignoring me) and it took the BBB and a letter from a lawyer before they would agree to refund my money. To this day I am still dealing with the stuff that kit broke on my Jeep (ball joints and CVs). Once I get my upper control arms from Al I will finally be rid of my SJ problems...a mere 2 years after removing that god forsaken kit.

Okay, I feel better now. :D
