Ok, I have yet to find a straight forward answer, so I'll just ask here.

How loud are the Treadwright MTG tires, I ordered the 245/75/R16 tires, I know they are the same pattern as the Wrangler MTR, but I want to know if they sound the same on the road?

As for loudness of yours...no idea.

You plan on putting a recording studio in your Jeep? Just turn the radio up some more.

I have them, and they are kind of loud. But it's not a soft top or anything, it's manageable. Not even a factor at all for conversation or anything. My friend's Bridgestone MTRs were A LOT louder.

Basically, they're JUST loud enough for you to feel like you're driving a Jeep 8) .

I'm looking at getting a set of these tires. Other than the noise, what's the ride quality like, and how do they seem to be holding up?

I have these tires and the noise is less than I expected. They are louder than an AT tire, but the noise level is not bad.

A little less than the max PSI they reccomend for my size (31x10.5xR15)of 50.

The noise isn't bad. I found on my Jeep the noise was amplified because my piss poor alignment caused some uneven wear. But when the tires were brand new they were by no means unreasonably loud. Like was said before, just loud enough.

They are holding up very well. I've had mine on for about a year and 12,000 miles. They have a bit less than 3/4 of the tread left and I've had ZERO problems with craftsmanship or quality. They are well made. No seperation, no bubbling, no fraying and they balanced perfectly when I had them put on.

Ride quality is the same or better than any other mud tread tire I've ever owned. The tread is a bit soft but not exceptionally so.

You really can't go wrong with them, in my opinion. I'll never buy another set of brand new tires.

I love mine, my wife doesn't think the noise is bad, quieter than the BFG Mud Terrains that I have ran in the past. They are quieter than the exhaust drone from running my Aero Muffler on the CRD, and the pitch isn't bad (higher pitch than the exhaust). I never buy a different tire for a truck/jeep etc. unless Treadwright buys the new MTR tread pattern...

Only thing to beware of is how heavy those tires are! I'm running the 245/75r16's load range E and they weigh around 60lbs each. That's about the same as ohv-kj's 35" pro comp mt's. I'm not going to be hard wheeling mine so I'm not to worried. As far as noise, they're awsome nice low pitch rumble when you get up to about 30mph. I run at 35psi they're rated at 80psi max. Definently worth the dough IMO.
