What have you done to your KK lately

The Jeep was making a clunk when it hit a bump in the back. It was getting very annoying. The trouble was the rear under storage cargo hatch wasn't a tight fit and would clunk open then close. So I lined the hatch lid with some foam thats used to seal the door in your house. Problem solved. :twisted:

Got the new exhaust put on. Attempted to get an alignment, but forgot that that shop is closed on Saturdays. Going out for lunch/dinner, so going to get a wash too.

Are those the factory tow hooks? Anyone have a part number for that grill down there?

THey are fatory tow hooks off of a KJ, for the KK they make only 1 even though they are the same thing, but due to the trans cooler lines the driver side tow hook has to be squeezed in

as far as that lower grill piece it was part of the absorber when the bumper was replaced after an accident, there has been some discoussion about it around here already and I think the answer is no onw can figure it out.

Went wheeling at Kansas Rocks Recreation Park and got to experience how much more challenging rocky trails can be with some greasy mud on them (from rain this past week):

As for me, I royally blew up my locker :twisted:

I had to pull my rear drive shaft and then drive 60 miles back home in front wheel drive :shock:

All I can say is the KK wasn't meant to be FWD. The thing was hoping like a dragster at every light I took off from...

You are the second person I have heard of within the last 2 weeks that blew up an Aussie.

My buddy had one in his V8 WJ until last week. His didn't exploded or anything, but it was messed up and made terrible noises.

He is going through it right now. His is a special case though. His WJ has the D44a, aluminum housing, and Aussie no longer makes lockers for it. So I haven't heard if he was getting a replacement or what since he has been gone the last bit on 2 separate wheeling trips. What kind of warranty do they have?
