This thing is T!TS!!!! The only real question is To Line-X or Not to Line-X...
I either want to paint it black, Line-X it, Leave it alone and clear coat it, or Paint the main rails Black and clear coat the crossbars.... :?

that is a very very nice roof rack. i say linex it! might as well keep the theme going... and when did those louvers jump in your hood? i think that's the first time i've seen the boiler rack paired with renny roof lights... they go very well together!

Very nice. 8)

Normally I'd say just paint it back. But since you'll be using it, throwing stuff up there and strapping it down, the paint will surely get messed up. So I'd have to say Line X would be the way to go. I bedlined mine, not quite as nice as Line X, but it holds way way better than paint when I strap stuff to it.

I vote for line-x, I need a picture of it finished that way

I was really happy with how it looked with the renny lightbar. I actually like it better that way.

As for how it looks flat: we basically "brushed" it and handled it only with white gloves, so it would have been the perfect time to clearcoat it and mount it. But in this case, with this all black monster liberty, it would be a crime to not make it black. That thing doesn't need a fruity chrome crown.

Edit: C'mon Chris, photoshop the trash pile out...

I can always count on you Tom

Yeah, seriously though, this thing is like Darth KJ rolling down the street and it would be a shame to basically chrome bling it like that. I love my silver and black still, but if I could change it to black with a bat of the eye right now I would. They do look outstanding. And black on black on black really give is it "What the heck was that thing???" swagger cruisin down the road.

I knew that's why you were getting rid of your OEM rail....... Looks great Chris!

I'd paint it fire engine red, that way you'd have red on top and bottom!

Lin-x it!
