I am just curious how many that bought control arms from Al are still running them? And if you are not, was it because of a failure?

you should add a "did you upgrade your black arms because they did break" to your poll too

I thought I had that option listed. I will see if I can edit the poll.

Looks like an admin or moderator will have to add the option to the poll.

I am still running the black gen 3 with the spot welded ball joint. I watch them closely and so far so good. I would like to see them last another 4 years but that may be asking a bit much.

Well, one of mine broke while I was in Moab (over 1400 miles from home). Luckily, I had thrown my original OEM one in back before we left. I was on Top of the World trail in Moab when it happened. I was doing a very easy climb and was about 200 feet from the end. I was able to get to somewhat level ground and replace it. Limped back to Moab with really screwed up alignment and got Chips Tire to do their best to align it for the trip home. My tires are now shot. I am so glad that I threw in the OEM arm, else it would have been a heck of a long walk to get help and one very expensive towing bill.

I am sure this is some joke, but I completely missed it.

I can't vote in this poll for some reason but I'm still running the Gen III arms with no issues so far (knocking on wood). I plan to upgrade at some point in the future maybe when I go SFA or earlier.
