I was doing donuts in a muddy field and snapped my front right brake line somehow and ever since we replaced the line, the brakes havent felt the same. They feel really musshy like. Is their air in the lines?Do i need to bleed them?Any ideas.Oh and i drove home with vise grips on the brake line for i could have decent stopping. Also i replaced all pads after this mishappen. Thanks

More than likely you have a little air in the lines I would do them all just to flush it out good and get the air out.

Do you have ABS? If you do that is a trip to the dealership to have the ABS pump blead. If air made it back to the master cylinder it can be really difficult to try and bleed it unless you pull it and bench bleed it,it can be done without bench bleeding but can take a long time.

I thought ABS was only on 02 models with rear drums? I'm not sure thats why i ask. I know I don't have it, but i thought ABS went out the door with 4 wheel discs?

ABS was a option on all years of KJ's until '06/'07 when it became standard(ESP).

Amen to that! Thank you Jeep for making it an option on the '03's! I didn't get the supplemental airbags either!
