one of the many things I learned hanging out here is that no particular off-road vehicle model is unworthy....some old school jeep owners may be poor sports but that's how the world works....I don't fault the fellow who started this post for bringing to our attention the comments in JP magazine....I think he's relatively new here and didn't know that many of you were aware of that magazine's point of view....but we shouldn't react like our feelings are hurt everytime we read of KJ criticism...no one complains more about the front differential than we do here....I believe this web site is now recognized in just about all the jeep circles and our reputation here should be as tough as we think the KJ model jeep is....what "they" read here is what we are....so let's don't bash other model owners....and no crying....
I think you have to decide...."do you want to be included?".....I do... so last year, I joined the local jeep club....I'm the only KJ they've seen willing to take a hit....it's a slow process, I wish I could fit a slightly larger tire....but I'm a player now.....

......I pulled a downed cj out of the woods the other day and a few months ago I pulled a xj out and then 40 miles home on a strap....they now ask me if I'm going to participate on the next ride, etc....a couple guys have said they're considering purchasing a liberty....
I agree with 1jferg in some respects....JP is a magazine for a particular point of view....many of those off road magazines are published by the same media company....I think they need a new editor but I'm interested in some of the content....I plan on being a "project" wrangler owner as soon as I can scrape together a few bucks.....in a recent issue, there was a full page advertisement in the opening pages featuring a liberty (maybe a skyjacker ad, I don't remember....I read the different magazines from the rack while my wife pushes the grocery cart)....money talks and advertisers will eventually want the liberty crowd to buy their products....and I can see the KJ bashing going away eventually if efforts like LOST continue...
