took a drive out to go to a fish auction.... picked up a lot of crap.... and then a subi STI decided to race me

So to set this up, we are 18th mile from the highway, two lanes each sending traffic east or west... It was a my KK running 4 inches of lift, my KM'2's and probably 900 lbs of crap between the line x, my bro, my tools and the fish VS. the STI with a larger than stock turbo and a coffee can..... I had him by a fender the whole time

lol your telling me the liberty keeps up with a sti? the car is an awd rally car... if the guy was actually full throttle then props to us libs out there i will now screw with subi's haha... ironically enough my friends brother has a wrx(not sti)... he has done tons of work and basically hasnt touched the engine yet, just bolt on suspensions and new trans... he got it dynoed at 427HP... thats RIDICULOUS... he can drop another 3K under his hood and have a 500HP subi... wow this of all the possibilities... almost makes me wish they put the SRT8 engine in the KK with AWD.... how amazing would that have been

I'm telling the truth...... Just ask any one that has ever ridden or followed me before and they will tell you how I drive.....

Any one from the Peak 10 remember going back up to the Eisenhower tunnel and watching me pass people in the right lane doing shall we say 65+++ while dodging semi's

I think he was toying with you Digger... an sti is a sub 6 sec 0-60 car... there is no way you would beat him anywhere with road under your tires.

In fact unless there is something to bottom out on, the sti will crush our Libertys on any surface. Gravel, ice, dirt, snow.

My other car is an 09 Forester XT, there is no contest between the two, my Forester is much, MUCH, faster then my Jeep... and the sti is faster then it.

If you beat him, it wasn't a real sti (just a sticker), or he wasn't trying to beat you.

Those are the only options. Sorry.

I hate that this is my first post, but I know there is no way the American would beat the Japanese one.

The SRT8 GC isn't bad. It will eat my old mans truck off of the line, but if you do a roling start, the GC ends up sucking DIESEL hard

Had a busy week with my KK.
Installed rock lizard sliders, tow hooks, and a cb radio and antenna
Then went trailing around in the
black hills, south Dakota.
Will attach pics and put together the tech write ups soon

New Tires: Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2's 245/70/16 and Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil Change. Tires are great...what a difference over the garbage stock tires.

Well my KJ tow hooks finally came in Thursday last week. They have been back ordered for months and first come first serve when they are made. I installed them Friday and it took about 10 minutes. I will post a thread with pics of my install when I get some time.

Bah wish I had known. I've been trying to find people to go bumming in the black hills with out here.

Was a drill weekend for the guard, and the weather was rubbish, so naturally I amused myself with big puddles and lots of mud. Will be doing the same this afternoon.

Fianly hit 5K miles.
We took it in today for a Free oil change to the dealer.

We are also have the tranny and computer software looked at.
To see if any updates will help out poor shifting on the freeway.

Also getting the tires moved around
and a free Alignment.

Hopfully they will wash it as well..
