Two weeks

.... after the shipping goof, I paid for 3 day select. That will be hopefully Saturdays project if not Monday..... And after, I can help you with questions.....

lol that works for me... better you hacking up the KK that me :roll:

... lol only thing i dont get is how far away to put the actual shock... i mean in theory i guess when it's attached to the top you get a distance when the shock is full length but the rod we have now keeps the hood up but the hood can obviously go higher if we push it... it there any reason not to go higher?... i mean i got 70lb struts... they should hold... and like i might have to lift a little higher but it should catch and bring the hood up to the highest point right?... which may quite possibly be taller then me cause i'm only 5'5" but thats why i'm lowering the thing anyway... think of how much easier it will be to clean the roof... ahhh satisfaction

You can't go to high because if you do, you will not have enough room to compress the shock and still close the hood

okay so what is the ratio... how much higher can you go above the stock height?

well with out playing, I'm guessing maybe an inch or two.... Now you could always install a second set of balls and relocate the shock to the second stud point when working on the hood

lol good thinking but that involves me having to still hold up the hood which defeats the purpose of the shocks... either way i'll be happier than with what i have haha... to be honest i might install with the rod up so that i can get the exact height to match with the shocks... and maybe then go a little higher.. we'll see...

ont he side note is SilverKK still around cause i got a question for him... i cant for the life of me remember the exact bulbs i ordered for my interior light mod and i was thinking about swapping out the passenger curtiousy and the cargo lights out for blue... cause at night time, even with my tints... my car is a HUGE fish bowl... kind of nice but blue would look cool i think too!

I paid for 3 day select.... the package was picked up at 8 pm last night and delivery isn't scheduled in tell Tuesday..... I thought that worked Saturdays.......
