Got the new rims and Goodyear MTR's with Kevlar 245/75 16 put on today in time for ECS:

Looks bitchin on the spare. I may be weird, but that is the coolest looking. Whole jeep looks great but i love they way the black Rubicon rims looks on the back.

Yeah black powder coated moabs are quite chic these days. As soon as I can convince the wifey to let me invest in new tires and wheels, I'm going with a set. Unfortunately I'm stuck with the 16in keystone cast aluminum wheels and goodyear wrangler st's....

How are the MTR's on mileage and road noise? I am buying a set of those or the duratrecs this week. Thanks for any input on these great looking tires. Great looking KJ too BTW.

I took a small hit on the mileage, since the tire is heavier then the MTR's w/o Kevlar which I had on before.
Road noise I don't pay attention, it does have a buzz but I just don't pay attention.
