The longest I have ever seen my light lit for was about 4 seconds at -10C last year. It does light when it is cold, but rarely do I ever see it on at higher temperatures. Just a flicker if the vehicle is cold.

Do a bulb test just to be sure it isn't burnt.

What is the bulb test procedure?

Thanks

To test gauges and dash bulbs, press and hold the trip odometer reset button and then key to RUN (not START).
This works for my '06.
