Are the tranny dipstick tubes the same length on a KJ and KK? Has anyone tried putting a KJ dipstick in a KK?

I think the KK Dipstick needs some special tool to get it out or to check the fluid. Others will correct me

same engine and tranny in both the KJ and KK ... Don't see why the dipstick would be different.

This is an odd question ... What cha got going on?

No dipstick on the '07 KJ's and the '08+ KK's.

If you look under KK tech section, Diggerfreek does a write up of how to check Trans oil with your oil dipstick, and if you go down a few posts, one member mentions purchasing a 2006 KJ trans dipstick, as this is the last KJ/KK model year to recieve a trans dip stick. Hope this helps. I'd link it here but couldn't figure it out.
