I have ab 05 KJ Sport CRD from January 24, 2005. When did they start to make them?

I didn't buy it until Oct 05. It sat on the lot for quite some time. It had 91 miles on it. I guess there were a lot of test drives with no takers.

sometime in 2001, I beleive all KJ's are made in th e uS and then exported.

No longer a CRD or Jeep owner. Selling everything I have, needs to go as I need the room for a project.

Mine was imported by Chrysler Spain on 09/19/2001. So I suspect that production started early 2001.

20XX model year production starts between July and August of the previous year. My 08 KK was made on September 12th of 2007. 2008 MY production started in late July with the first 08 MY hitting dealer lots by the second week of August in the east and the first week of September out in the west.
