So ended up bringing my jeep to my mechanics after trying to install my frankie and upper a-arms after having some problems with the lower control arms. He just called me at work to let me know the lower control arms are fubar, apparently the bolts and bushings are frozen/fused together and he can't get them loose. He might have to cut them which leads to me needing new lower control arms.

Being as I'm at work nd using my cell, I can't really research this right now, can anyone please give me a heads up on my options for lower control arms. Any help would b greatly appreciated. Thnks in advance!!

Aaaarrrrrrggggg!!! I'm so frustrated right now....

junkyard? When putting lift back together its hard to reconnect. Is he saying he can't get back together or can't even loosen?

Doesn't anyone clean there vehicles properly anymore? Salt from the winter months needs to be cleaned from your undercarriage at least once a month(I wash mine every Sunday regardless of weather).

me too, i go at least twice a week to the pressure washer, i figure 2 bucks a shot is worth it to try my best at keeping the salt off my jeep. the only time i dont do it is if its like under 20* because you cant even clean the jeep becuase it freezes instantly on it

Lots of people do not wash theirs much in the winter Troy.

Not mentioning names  but have had a couple in my garage that were "real rusty" all over. Mine is washed every week at least when there is snow, ice, salt , cinders on the road and have never had any problems getting any bolts loose!

Well I wash my KJ about every week and Scott (1996xj) had to cut my LCA Bolts off... We tried torching them and they still didn't budge....

So you are both wrong! :P

Not really, just washing the top side does not count  .Oh and doing a alignment at least once a year helps also, saves gas and tires also(nice side benefit). If you have a Firestone close by just get there lifetime alignment and get it done for free(after the initial 1st payment) as many times you want, well worth the money.

Or do like I do, send some extra business to the local shop that does mine, some doughnuts every now and again and then free alignments  for me
