So thats all that holds the rock rails on a KK is back on the frame? Interesting, lots easier than a KJ then! That makes it a 20 minute job!

Yep, those 4 bolts and 3 bolts that go through holes that are already on the pinch weld... No more drilling 7 holes per side in the pinch weld :P

Could make them drill the other holes  ,it would take a couple hundred dollars in drill bits to do so.Those KK pinchwelds are tough to drill through.

Yeah, NO KIDDING  Might have to add in some extra for a new drill when done. I think I blew up/dulled 10 or 12 different sized bits when I did my one side

Glad you came back  So, how was the other side? I have been told that natural sun light is better for you than the light/radiation my laptop emits

I removed my chrome side steps yesterday. They served no purpose as a step and I didn't care much for the way they looked. I may have to ask Santa for some Super Skink Sliders this year.

I am thinking about Line-Xing the chrome grill, side trim, and liftgate handle. I'm planning to completely de-chrome my Jeep. I like Digger's Line-X and have been wanting to Line-X something on my Jeep since I saw it. The grill looks really cool on the silver Liberator, but I am wondering how it will look on my black KK.

Also, I pulled out the rubber cupholder inserts to clean them and spent what felt like forever scraping the adhesive off. That was some serious stick'em.

Installed SilverStar headlight bulbs. There's more and wider light on low beam. High beam looked a little brighter but it was hard to tell just driving around the neighborhood.

Problem: Nobody seems to hear me when I have to hit the horn. Like, it's a mouse squeek or something.

Solution: Installed a new horn. Well, an add-on. I didn't realize that the two OEM horns are on the driver side only. So, I put this one on the passenger side fender well.

Is definately a bit louder, but nothing I would think to be illegal.
