Btw; Denver didn't get rid of him. He got rid of Denver after throwing 18 picks with them last season. Oh and for the record, he has a way to go before taking over QB's ahead of him on the INT first four season record list. Including Elway, Farve, Aikman, Namath and a few others.

But the others were or are bankable winners. That makes a huge difference. If you strike out 140 times in the majors while batting .195 with 2 home runs, you suck. If you do it while hitting .300 and poking it over the fence 60 times, you don't. Same thing here.

Since Jay Cutler is in the 4th year of his NFL career, here is a 4 year regular season starting QB comparision-

Cutler:
TDs = 68
INT = 54
QB Rating = 84.7 (Cutlers 4th season isn't complete).

Elway:
TD's = 70
INT's = 65
QB Rating = 79.9 (Lifetime Rating).

Farve:
TD's = 70
INT's = 64
QB Rating = 86.0 (To Date)
(Not included; Farve played only 2 games with Atlanta = 0 TD / 2 INT)

Namath:
TD's = 78
INT's = 87
QB Rating = 65.5 (Lifetime)

One heck of a defensive game, but hey, We came out on top, another W in the win column!!!... GO Bengals , 5-0 in division, only got Browns left to be 6-0

Yeah I was tempted to pick the Bengals, but didn't.

So far, Steelers, Falcons & Broncos have let me down this week (as of this post).

I live in NC so I root for the Panthers, but my team is the Broncos. Broncos were doing decent as predicted, and then Orton got hurt so our offense had a train wreck and didnt score in the 2nd half.

But the Panthers won, I knew they would. Gave the Saints a run for their money, so they were bound to take it to the Falcons.

My family has a running joke that you NEVER bet on the Bengels, no matter what. They are playing great, but it's just hard to do some times. My other team is the Cowboys, cause my dad's family is from Texas so if I wasn't also a Cowboys fan I would be voted out of the family. Disapointing day overall.

Steelers, Falcons & Broncos are my only losses this week. I have the Colts tonight and the Ravens in case of a tie-breaker tomorrow night. Not a bad week for me.

Bengals sweep the Ravens and the Steelers. Beat those vaunted D's.

Bengals won, Buckeyes won, Bobcats won, and the Broncos lost. I went 4-0 for this football week.

Yeah, the Steeler's bandwagoneers are strangely silent, aren't they? They could use a lesson from the New Browns. Their fans are by far the best for being loud-mouthed even when the team gets trounced.

Vikes won again. I am not sure if they beat Detroit or if Detroit forfieted to save time. :shock:

I wonder who we will play for the first round of the playoffs? I'm betting it won't be the Bears/Cutler as the wildcards. Any takers?

Cutler is nearing the half-way point of a typical NFL QB's career and is not a winner. Decent stats & winners are not always the same thing. Being a winner is more intangible. Cutler will not be mentioned with those other three in the history books.

Another reason the BCS stinks to no end.

Buckeyes ranked higher than Pitt in AP and Coaches.
Buckeyes beat a higher ranked BCS team.
Pitt beats lowly Notre Dame which is unranked, by 4 pts, I think.
Pitt leaps over the Buckeyes in the BCS rankings.

HOW?!!!!!!!! STUPID BCS crap!!!

Florida scheduled FIU this weekend while Alabama plays Chattanooga ( who is 6-4 in 1-AA!) . Can anyone honestly say that is not intentionally padding your schedule before the big run? It does seem that the SEC in general and Florida in particular has this habit.

SEC plays a lot of lower end schools (not lesser Div I-A conferences but the Div I-AA teams). I don't recognize that FBS/FCS level crapping created.
