CAn I disconnect battery to clear codes after new sensor installed?

I've used the Bosch from Advanced with good results. In fact I need to replace Bank 2 Sensor 2 this weekend.
I think they run about $32.00
This will be the third original sensor I replaced in 112000 miles.
The code will clear if the battery is disconnected for a few minutes. It will also clear within a couplpe drive cycles after the offending sensor is replaced.

i have used both bosch and borg warner with no problems on three different occasions.
the code will reset after battery disconnect. if problem is not fixed it may come back on miles down the road! mike

Changed o2 sensor Sunday. Check engine light went out tonight. Codes still show when turning key on off 3 times. Will that go away? Should I dsconnect battery?

I believe I used bosch in several of my car that I got at the local auto parts store. Always look and work like stock, and much cheaper then stock.
