Anyone hear Brett Favre's conference call interview with the media yesterday? If not, he said the Bears will be a better team with Cutler and that there is nothing wrong with him. Matter of fact, Farve said; "47 games into a NFL career, and he's doing a lot better than I did". Favre said he completely understands why Cutler is being compared to him, and Mr. Favre is a fan of young Jay Cutler.

I just hope the Bears org doesn't ruin the best QB they've ever had. :roll:

Is anyone surprised that Favre didn't trash talk an opponent? That he acted like a profesional, not like Ochocinco or an NBA POS? I would not have expected any other response when Favre was discussing the QB they play this week. I'll bet you would be hard pressed to find Favre trashing ANYONE in an on-air interview. C'mon now. That was an obvious fluff bit that has more to do with Favre being too big of a man to put out a negative sound bite than what Favre may or may not really think of Cutler.

Last week, I still saw Cutler acting like a big baby on missed passes and playing the blame game. These are the knocks that continue to follow him. No matter the talent, those are not the traits of a winner.

My Vikes over the bears 36 - 10. The difference between a QB who is a winner and one who is not was pretty obvious today.

At least bears fans don't have to worry about those pesky playoff games again this year. :lol:

Not much sense in replying here since it's obvious you didn't hear the conference call interview which was not just regarding their (Vikes) next opponent.

And vikings fans will once again only have 1977 to remember the last time their team appeared *choke-choke-choke-choke* in a Super Bowl. Must suck to have never enjoyed a win.

Seriously, what a dominating win. As a Saints fan, that is the best I have ever seen them play as a complete team, on both sides of the ball and on special teams. As a football fan, I think that ranks up there among the best football performances I have ever seen, period.

You know you have done something special when Bellicheck pulls his offensive starters with 5 minutes and change left to play in the game. If the hoodie waves the white flag, that is an accomplishment indeed.

This makes up for all those years of mediocrity and waiting for the team management to realize that to grow a fan base, you have to win and be competitive year after year (a la Pittsburgh, Dallas, etc) and to do that, you have to invest in the team. Good coaching, good players, no more Aaron Brooks, no more Aaron Brooks. . . did I mention no more Aaron Brooks?

How awesome would it be for the Saints, the only team remaining from the 1968 expansion to have never played in a Super Bowl, to not only win a Super Bowl, but dethrone the 1972 Dolphins as the only NFL franchise to have a perfect season? I would be happy with just getting to the Super Bowl and hopefully winning, but I really think that the Saints can do it. They look better than the 2007 Patriots, as they demonstrated last night.

But there is still a lot of football left to be played before then.
