Clicking seems to be getting worse, im thinking it might not be the clock spring, my Upper Ball Joints seem to be at a bad angle due to the lift, could they be causeing this clicking? Im going put my hand on the UCA and other suspension parts and have someone turn the wheel to see if i can feel the click, if i cant then its something farther up.

Im going to jack up the vehicle and put it on stands this saturday, take both front wheels off and have someone turn the wheel back and forth while i feel and listen to the front suspension. If no noise cna be heard or felt in the front then im going to have to rip apart the dash i guess to try and find the noise.

Got an appoitment to drop her off at the dealer Monday night so they can look at Tuesday. Hopefully they can find the issue and not complain about the lift

Meh.... If they blame it on the lift, you should find a new dealer..... Unless the clicking is coming from the suspension or CV's, it is not the lift

There may be nothing that can be done if it is that,a new one probably will make the same noise. There has to be some slop in the steering shaft or it will not work right in a accident(collapse correctly).I'd have it checked out regardless,if it is deamed safe just live with the noise. It could also be just plastic rubbing on plastic in the steering column,GM is notorious for that,or it could be a slightly sticking steering wheel lock or a noisy turn signal canceling cam, both of which would need to be removed to to the clock spring so the noise was reduced when they R&I'ed those and they where placed at a slightly different position then they where before.

Then why wouldnt this be a problem from the beginning, not 2 years later?

They replaced the Turn Signal Lever (5183952-AD). Still happening. Im going to have another mechanic look at it then probably just give up.

Have them check the torque on the steering wheel nut. It might be as simple as that. I wish you luck. 40 Ft. Lbs.
