I'm not going to be able to make the January outing (going on vacation with the family), but after February anything is game for me

(and the family...both boys are coming next time)

Tom isn't my real name nor is mudd a real name so???? My ex step son when he was 5 named me that after his mother and I were "discussing " something and I said my name may as well be mud! Mud turned into mudd and Tom is a nick name as well so tommudd it became. So has nothing to do with getting into or playing in mud.
Did it enough in my younger days, spent way too much time and money repairing things from being in mud
Now I just sit back and laugh when someone posts pics of having a muddy Jeep and saying they were driving around for a week that way!

so... are you a primus fan then? That is the first and only time I heard my name is mud.... is it a southern thing? I would imagine. 6'2" and rude as hell....

Sorry about that was in meetings all day had my ringer shut off and never saw who all called until late, real late! ( forgot to turn it back on)

Matter if fact should check it now :shock:

maybe a Southern thing ( Southern Ohio), have always heard that expression
" May as well just call me Mud"
Its like what my first wifes Grandmother would say when her and Grandpa would argue

Worked for one guy for a whole year before he found out my name wasn't Tom, 11 months worth of checks made out to Tom ****s and I cashed them all

So i had my first mechanical issue while at Jeep Skool this past weekend. AC condensor pulley froze up while barely 100 yards past the front gate. I limped back to the main office explained my situation to one of the staff. With in 15 mins i had the new pulley paid for and had someone on their way to pick it up from north olmstead for me. Granted do to weather issues i was unable to get the part untill almost 8pm and the office was closed but my KJ was stored in a heated garage all night. In the morning i had more people ask if i needed help installing the new pulley and AC clutch than i actually needed. All in all we got the old pulley off and the new one on in less than 45 mins and i was back out on the trails. Did NOT have to pay any type of storage fees or any fees for the staff helping me. Not only that another Non-staff member lent me his TJ(he was tent camping in the snow) so i could get a friend of mine home who had come out with me. And i thanked Robocon for having such a great staff and he simply stated they are a good bunch but thank you for coming out to Jeep Skool i hope you still had a great time. Which i did.

How were the trails in the snow?

Quite icy but not too bad. Just had to be a little more careful with lines and what not. The hill from robocons last stand to upper rim was a sheet of ice and several lifter TJs and JKs and XJs were having issues with it and my KJ crawled right up it like it was dry.

It seemed like people with any type of AT were doing better on the hill climbs than people with MTRs.
