Nothing interesting anywhere this morning though, nothing even for sale that is worth a crap.
We did get enough snow to cover the grass almost though last night! :BANANA:

so are Scott and Jim working on "the front" of Jims KJ? Can't wait to see that have never seen one in person! Be time then for Jim to switch out to new springs! :-)r

Yes they are working on the front, I saw the parts on Friday night after they had been given a couple of coats of 415, and they look nice

Will run by there this afternoon to see how it came out :seuss:

I'm out here Dustin... barely. Still fighting Chest/head cold. This thing is kickin my butt! Stayed home from church to rest this morning.

Tom, said I would never drive a minivan either, if only it was AWD, I would still have it, even had a 350 ready for swap B4 I sold it....

so why did you sell the Astro? Was a good looking ride, or are you like me , get tired of playing with one after a while. The KJ is the first vehicle I have owned for over 5 years, well except for the 86 Harley FXRT Sport Glide, 49 Ford all original etc but as far as a DD

Tom, combination of 1. wanted something different 2. wanted/needed 4x4 3. wife wasn't happy with it 4. I won the Tahoe on an unexpected ebay auction so didn't need it. I had it for 3 yrs, usually goes 5-6 yrs for me on a vehicle.
I do miss it now, really turned heads. Since I had the 350 and all the needed stuff, I should have found an AWD subframe w/all the needed stuff and did the swap... would've been sweet. I know a few guys that have lifted AWD Stros/Safaris and they go about anywhere. Oh well, the Hoe fits me anyway.The guy I sold it to had it for sale 6 months later, wished I could've bought it back.

I have looked at several Astro vans over the years, nice to travel in with lots of room , rented a few for long weekends when we had a bunch of people going somewhere. Liked the way they drove and all but just never broke down and bought one.
Now waiting to buy anything till the wife returns to see if she wants the KJ for her DD or something else. She doesn't like cars as they sit too low so more than likely I will give her the Liberty ( well her and her son since he'll be 16 when he comes over)

TAHOE, sorry your still sick man! Did you go to the sawbones? They shoudl have given you ZPACK, that stuff would have cleared right up! Glad your not :dead:

Oh and as far as ASTRO's go, my father purchased one of the first three to come to Houston the first year they came out, when they were introduced, they had tons of problems, the transmisson went out at 20K miles, and the thing had a ton of electrical problems :shock:

I'm sure though that all that stuff was worked out in the next couple of years, my dad was so mad at the thing he took it back to the dealer and got something else under the lemon laws at the time

Will be back on in a couple of hours, leaving now :SOMBRERO:

Back from Scott's house, Jim's new mod is very cool, they took alot of extra time cutting the bumper, very clean cuts, looks great!

Looks like I am good for take off.

Hope fully a big box from JBA gets here before I take off and get "them" installed :pepper:

Most times I really think that there are adults on here to have fun and discuss whats happening in Ohio and plan future meet and greets etc.

But then every now and again I can see we only have little kids posting.
