I hate to say I told ya so....But I'm gonna say it! There was no doubt in my mind you were going to get that job man! I am very happy for you brother! Good benfits, and the pay is decent, not to mention all the rediculus holidays Govt. employees get :BANANA:

Probably the best Xmas gift I have heard about this year! Congrats Scott, you deserve a great job and one has finally made its way to you!

Thank's everyone !! Yes this job just fell into my lap, thank's to my buddie Dave Dollie,I start Feb 4th and the wife is demanding I go to christmass eve. services!! :banghead:

She say's I owe the man upstair's at lest that, so Im going to set foot in a church for the first time in 10yr's tommarow! I told her I won't be able to work at the new job if I spontaniesley (I think I spelled that wrong) combust into a ball of flame's as I enter the church, she said they have fire blanket's !! Damm !!! :dead:

Well Scott, if it helps any I will be in Church tomorrow evening as well with my parents. Doesn't hurt too bad walking in the doors, just a LITTLE warm feeling.

You didn't know it but I was pulling for you to get the job, someone in a Cherokee told me about it!
Glad you got in and now you can relax a bit knowing there is something there for you.
My job with the state was the same way, got a call and said send in a app, and here I am.
Again Congrats you deserve it!
But now when can you do my gears???? darn! :mrgreen:

TOM, I will still be out in the garage on the weekend's once I get into the swing of thing's at the new job !! Let me know when you are coming down this way, or if you want to bring a axle to a meet and greet and we will go from there. Im going to try and get a few thing's done to the XJ and the KJ done this week while I have time, I still need to get the 927 spring's under the KJ, but have to wait for some Rancho's and also need to install the new AL Arm's !! :JEEPIN:

Wow, that's really great. So happy for you and your family. Couldn't have happened to a better guy. So often those go to kids of kids of uncles of cousins of someone that had the skills to do a job. I hope everything goes great for you there.

The one thing about government jobs is that there is an even greater chance your boss is a tool, with all the nepotism and difficulty getting rid of idiots. That said, if you just smile and bear the BS, they have a hard time getting rid of you. I hope its great for you, Merry Christmas!

Well Dustin we'll always try and keep you a long ways away from anyplace with a steeple.

I've even went to church where the whole service was done in Chugga and Swahili. Only thing I understood was when the Minister said "Tom would you please come forward and address the congregation" :shock:
