A lot of experts were saying TCU was actually the best in the country. Proof they they weren't came from their loss to Boise St.
You can't blame or punish a team due to their strength of schedule because of the conference they are in. The Big Ten, Big 12, SEC, and PAC 10 are not going to allow Boise St into their conference. They went undefeated and deserve the co-champ status.
A lot of people said the Buckeyes were going to get stomped on by Oregon. Why does anyone listen to these so called experts. They know nothing.
So much for the so-called weak Big Ten. Three teams in the top 8 final polls. No other conference has three teams and with those records. All three won their bowl games also. Fourth team makes for four teams in top 16. No conference has more than two teams in the top 16. SEC had 10 of their 12 teams playing in bowl games but only four teams in the top 25 (talk about overrated!).
Okay if you want a playoff system then maybe you should include this college as well in the talks CENTRAL WASHINGTON from the GNWAC (Great Northwest Athletic Conference) they went 11-0 so maybe they should be CO-CO National Champions even though they are a Division II team While your at it add WEASLY College too from DIVISION III they went 10-0.. I mean all that proves is it's just a number if you want to see THE BEST OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL, then include the lower divisions a spot in a NATIONAL PLAYOFF SYSTEM. With that being said I have petitioned my Congressman Tom Coburn to talk some sense into CONGRESS because the NCAA IS NOT OWNED NOR OPERATED BY THE GOVERNMENT. Therefore they should have no say in the matter because all they are doing is wasting TAXPAYERS MONEY on BS that could be spent on JOBS, JOBS, and Most Importantly JOBS! Seriously Boise State should be ranked higher but BASED ON CURRENT SYSTEM THAT WON'T HAPPEN because the current system uses Strength of Schedule plus Votes of Coaches. So until it's fixed you have three options, PLAY BETTER TEAMS such as ALABAMA, FLORDIA, NOTRE DAME, IOWA, OHIO ST, OKLAHOMA, USC, UCLA, or others THAT HAVE WON A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, Option 2: Cry and whine about it like most are doing now and IMO you aren't anything better than ADAM JAMES FROM TEXAS TECH, Option 3: Recommend a playoff system via NCAA to include a Bracket System like the Basketball Has but allow for Other Divisions to compete and tell congress to worry about NATIONAL MATTERS, NOT COLLEGIATE MATTERS!
So TokyoJoe that's what I recommend one of three options and since I like you I wouldn't recommend option 2 because I extremely dislike the James family...
