okay so i got H13 HID's(biXenon) for my headlights and i also got reg HIDs for my fogs... wired everything up and i got my fogs working but i'm having an issue with my headlights. When the ignition is turned to on bu the engine is not running the Headlights turn on great for low beam, when i hit the high beam they turn off... then if i put my lights back to low beam and turn on the engine the HIDs flicker ( and keep flickering)... any ideas... i mean this is my daily driver so not having headlights really sucks... i got the fogs for now but they don't really cut it haha

Is it a plug and play kit? If it's a plug and play kit then the problem most likely lies with the control box. Could have bad units. Contact the manufacture for best tech support. Where did you get them from?

post some pics of how you have it wired and installed ...

its plug and play and i've tested every piece... everything works fine... i think it has to do with the voltage of the truck... i just dont understand why i lose the low beam tho when the jeep starts up.. the lights are fine when the key is just turned to on... i ordered something form ddm tuning ( i bene doing some research in the nitro forum... so i hope that helps but i want to make sure no one else has had this experience cause maybe i'm doing something else wrong

get a voltage meter and check the power. I don't think it has anything to do with the power in the truck, I think there is something with the power box of the lights. where did you get the HID kit from?

I had the same problem with a 2009 KK. Purchased from Hidgate on e-bay.Kit came with relay that draws power from the battery and actuates from the factory headlamp power.Called Hidgate they sent me no charge 2 resistors? or capacitors? that fixed the flickering problem. All has been good for a couple of months. Now I have developed a new problem, the headlamps do not turn off sometimes unless you tap on the relay.A new relay should solve that problem.I guess you cant expect too much for $50.00

The happens to me every once in a while.... Never thought that the relay could be the problem, but makes perfect sense!

The first time I have to jump start my KK because the HID's don't turn off I will revert back to the factory DIM's :x

no matter what yopur going to run into issues... you either need a capacitor or an error code eliminator

not a jyxn... our car doesnt allow us to because of some pulse system... kinda the idea like AC current vs DC... it turns on and off... so your headlight will work when the engine is not running btu when it turns on and sends the pulse it won't work. do you know what the harness looks like?

I got my HIDs from eBay, not sure which seller, and I didn't have any issues with them. Plugged them in and they worked fine. Mine were Bi-Xenon's also ...

My original relay worked 98% of the time. The only time I had a problem was when I went to shut them off. On the rare occasion that it happened, I would have to cycle the switch 5 or 6 times before they went off...
