I got some 70-90w synthetic blend gear oil and a limited slip additive (trans-x) to put on the liberty, is this compatible with what I have? The additive says it is not for quadratrac, is that a problem for this application?
Also, can I use the same synthetic blend gear oil for the TC? Any additives I need for this?

Thank You.

You'll be fine with that combo in your rear diff.ATF+4 for the t-case.

So, anybody try Mobile 1 75-140w both rear and front diffs? Does the front have to have 75-90?

I have switched both front and rear diff to Royal Purple 75/90 and added the additive to the rear.
I also changed the motor to Royal Purple 5/30, all seems to be fine so far.
Has anyone used the Royal Purple ATF fluid? according to them it is an acceptable substitute for ATF+4 but I am not so sure I want to find out the hard way.
