OK I must be missing something. I'm trying to find a replacement grill for 2005 Jeep Liberty Rocky Mountain ed. Problem: Everytime I put that in it comes back with a grill that is curved over the headlights. I just happen to look at the renegades and it has the grill like I have smooth across the top. But I don't have a renegade, no external fogs, no lightbar, no renegade flares?!??!?! Why can't I find a grille that is straight across the top?

So just buy the grill for the Renegade not sure what the big deal is? Flat hood is a flat hood, grill would be the same.

I know it SOUNDS simple...but everytime I search for any grill I can't find the smooth grill, i can only find the curved ones

IIrC that is the exact grille that a renegade uses. Many parts places, even tire places, show you a "stock image" and not the actual product that you will be getting. You could ask for an '05 sport grille and an '05 RME grille of the same colors, and i'll bet that the part #'s are different even if it shows the same grille in the catalog picture.

I know the pictures might not be the same but most have the Rocky Mountain Ed, Renegade, and the sport listed for the same grill but the sport has the curved part which means it would not fit. I don't have a clue

i think what you'll have to do is when you find a parts house that seems to have a bit of a variety, and has 3 or 4 different listings for the 05 models to email/call them and see what they say

The Rocky Mountain Edition and Renegade Grille are the same as far as I know. The Sport is different because the hood is different and it also has spots for those little foglights
