I tried them without wheel spacers, andthey barely rub the front bumper when turning, but the Al's upper control arm is rubbing the sidewall all the time, its not real bad but its enough to be concerning so I went ahead and orders a set of spacers through work and theyll be getting put on tommorrow.

265-75-16 Fierce Attitude MT's. Havent seen many reviews on these tires, but the few I can find that arent ciomplaining about the "lame" sidewall say they are doing good. even with the slight rubbing on the control arm the ride was MUCH quieter than ive had in a long time.

Just add wheel spacers for the rubbing issue. How much did the set cost?

I paid $151 a tire which is slightly under retail, which is around 165-170. I work at a tire shop so I get at or near cost on everything.

I ordered 1.25" spacers today. I got 4 of them for $100, so I couldnt justify new wheels.

I personally like white letters out, but I don't know about those. Guys who do alot of off roading usually put white letters in cause they most likely will get torn up on rocks/trees, etc.

Dang those are high priced tires then  I assumed since they were sort of an off brand they would be cheaper
I paid less than 170 each for my 265-75-16 Goodyear Duratracs mounted balanced taxes all fees etc :? Tire shop met Tirerack prices plus another 5 % off at the time

You got a good deal on the dura tracs then. I looked at them and they sell for $200-$210 at most places now.

I paid 151 mount balance tax and road hazard so I didnt over pay by anymeans. I could have gotten cheaper tires but I wanted to try these out to see how they do.

I can get 20% below cost on one set of tires a year and I used that on my 35" km2's or these suckers wo9uld have been real cheap for me.

The spacers I ordered are WAY to thick, they made rubbign MUCH worst. I looked around here and I found that someone was running 1.25 spacers, but I didnt allow for me still having the factory bumper. Gonna drop to just a little 1/4 spacer to move it away fromt he control arm and see what happens.

The tires look awesome. Very aggressive.

I agree, white letters out, always. They way I see it, if you wheel and the letters get torn up then people "in the know" will see that you actually wheel the Jeep.

Be careful with the 1/4 spacers. Those tend to put a lot of extra stress on the studs and leave less thread for the lug nuts to bite on to. My suggestion is to stick with the 1.25" spacers and just do the bumper trim that has become popular on '05-07 Sport models. That's of course just my opinion, and I'm sure that others here (possibly including yourself) will have contrasting suggestions! :)

Either way, looks great!

I dont think there is any trimming my bumper, the thing is so loose and flemsy with most of the mounting points already missing. If I push it it by hand about 2 inchs theyll clear with the spacers. But the spacers also got me hitting where the pinch weld used to be, I already have the winch weld trimmed and pushed over but they hit the actual floorboard.

If I leave the spacers off they just barely touch the sway bar and the als upper control rubs the sidewall a little. There is plenty of room at the pinchweld area. I'm going to see if I can put the thinnest spacer I can find in there just to get it off the control arm.

Well I take that back.. I managed to get the bumper cut enough and fastened abck into place but its ahrd ot cut floor boards.

But with that said a sledge hammer can fix alot of that problem, and thats just what I did. Ive been out in the garage all morning cutting and beating and they now clear at full turn, and full tuck at the same time.

I also put the spacers on the rear, they actualy rub less with the spacer back there at full tuck but there isnt to much that can be removed without cutting into the door so Im going to glue a hockey puck on the axle to extende the bump stops.

Looks great. How much beating on the floor boards did you do? Is it noticeable from the inside?
